Spring Issue of UWyo Magazine Focuses on Student Success

magazine cover with photos of people on itThe spring issue of UWyo Magazine, the University of Wyoming’s flagship publication, tells the stories of nearly two dozen students and how they embraced UW’s abundant opportunities to excel in research, academics, education abroad, honors, leadership and more.

“This issue of the magazine is dedicated to helping students and families learn about UW’s resources for student success -- and showing examples of students who have used those resources to flourish at our university,” says UW President Ed Seidel, who shares his own college journey and struggles in this issue.

In addition to telling the UW president’s and provost’s own stories -- and highlighting UW resources and students -- the spring issue features articles about alumni, programs, athletics, the UW Art Museum, philanthropy and more.

“At UW, there are so many opportunities and, perhaps more importantly, those opportunities are accessible,” says Maeve Knepper, of Cheyenne, a recent graduate with degrees in economics and international studies who is profiled in this issue. “I was able to participate in so many different things, and I had the funding and mentorship to make it possible.”
