Centennial Singers to Hold Auditions April 30

April 23, 2007 -- The University of Wyoming Centennial Singers, the university's musical ambassadors, will hold auditions for the 2007-08 performance season on Monday, April 30.

The open call for singer/dancers is at 6:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Center Mains Dance Studio.

Prepare 32 bars of a ballad and an up-tempo musical theatre selection. A dance audition will follow the vocal audition.

Patrick Newell replaces interim director Thomas Castro to lead the traveling performance group into its 22nd year. For questions regarding auditions, contact the Centennial Singers office at 766-3076.

Students interested in playing in the Centennial Singers band or working behind-the-scenes for the group (public relations, stage, lighting or sound) should contact Newell.
