Tuesday, Nov. 3, noon-2 p.m. -- A panel discussion commemorating the 40th anniversary of the Black 14 incident will be in the Wyoming Union's Skylight Lounge. Panelists will discuss the controversy surrounding the 1969 UW football program and the Mormon Church. Wednesday, Nov. 4, 8 p.m. -- The Guggenheim Grotto from Dublin, Ireland will perform a free concert in the Wyoming Union ballroom. Free. Friday, Nov. 6, 9 a.m.-4 p.m. -- Conference on "State of the Dominant Estate" examines new developments in resolving conflicts between land owners and mineral rights holders, Room 170 of the UW College of Law Building. Free, with continuing legal education credits available. Registration starts at 8 a.m. Friday, Nov. 6, 5 p.m. -- Department of Animal Science students in the will compete against each other in showman competition during the 68th Little International Livestock Show at the Cliff and Martha Hansen Livestock Teaching Arena west of Laramie. A barbecue dinner starts at 5 p.m., and a dance is scheduled from 9 p.m. to midnight. Tickets cost $4 at the door. Friday, Nov. 6, 7-9 p.m. -- Wyoming residents and journalists will discuss current events via videoconferencing during the second session of "What's News: Wyoming Connects" in Room 304 of UW's Wyo Hall. Free. Friday, Nov. 6, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Collegiate Chorale will perform its fall concert in the Fine Arts Center concert hall. Free. Friday, Nov. 6, and Saturday, Nov. 7, 7:30 p.m. -- The UW Department of Theater and Dance will perform "The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee" in the UW College of Education auditorium. Tickets cost $10 for the public and $5 for students and can be purchased through the Fine Arts Center box office at (307) 766-6666 or at the Web site www.uwyo.edu/finearts. Saturday, Nov. 7, 6 a.m. through Sunday, Nov. 8, 6 a.m. -- Delta Delta Delta will serve flapjacks at their house on 1616 Sorority Row to raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Tickets cost $5 at the door, with additional donations accepted. Sunday, Nov. 8, 6-10 p.m. -- The University of Wyoming Luso-Brazilian Club will host "Noite Brasileira, An Evening of Brazilian Music and Dance" in the Wyoming Union ballroom.
