Since 2000, the University of Wyoming has offered members of the university faculty, staff, and administration as speakers on a wide variety of topics to Wyoming civic, social, and business groups. Speakers are provided free of charge to the organization.

The UW Speakers Bureau roster changes each year. During early autumn, the Division of University Public Relations sends each community group on which it has information our offer of speakers, a list of speakers for that academic year, and a form upon which the organization can request its top three choices.

Division staff members work with the organization and requested speakers to make a good match. Some two dozen requests are fulfilled each year.
