THE LITTLE TRAIN
THAT COULD
(But Chose
Not To)
A Comedy for Adults By William Missouri Downs

A comedy/drama about Jill, a New York
children's book editor suffering from writer's block, and her former roommate,
the unpublished author of children's books such as Why Mommy Is On Prozac and
Hip-Hop the Lesbian Hippo. When Jill returns to her alma mater for a reunion
with her college writing professor, the homecoming is not what she expects. Questions
arise about her past, what it means to grow up, her professor's future, and a
teacher's ability to control her students' thoughts and values.
