Growing the Future!
I would like to welcome you to the Wyoming Technology Business Center. The WTBC is a not-for-profit business incubatior that assists in the process of start-up and growing companies. It provides entrepreneurs with the expertise, networks, and tools they need to make their ventures successful.
Incubation programs assist in diversifying economics, commercializing technologies, creating jobs, and building wealth. Incubators nurture young corporations, helping them to survive and grow during the start-up period when they are most vulnerable.
Services at the WTBC include educational and mentoring programs, business services, and infrastructure located on the main University of Wyoming campus. Tenant companies located within the Wyoming Technology Business Center will receive:
- increasing credibility due to their association with a prestigious research institution (UW is one of 145 Carnegie Foundation Doctoral Research Extensive Universities)
- shortening of the corporation learning curve
- learning problem solving techniques
- accessing to business advisory committees, which is the “know-how” networks
- improving access to capital resources
- accessing University faculty expertise and student employees
- and accessing University infrastructure resources such as libraries, sophisticated equipment and laboratories, information technology services
These benefits are especially compelling in rural areas like Wyoming. The Wyoming Technology Business Center is pioneering a new solution to assist small corporations.
