Wyoming Tobacco Indicators Database

Welcome! Since June of 2001, the Wyoming Survey & Analysis Center (WYSAC), under contract to the Mental Health & Substance Abuse Services Division (MHSASD) of the Wyoming Department of Health, has conducted evaluation and surveillance for Wyoming's Tobacco Prevention and Control (TP&C) Program. The Tobacco Prevention and Control evaluation team at WYSAC is committed to providing an unbiased evaluation of Wyoming’s TP&C efforts. These efforts are focused on achieving four goals:

  • Protecting residents from secondhand smoke in areas where children are exposed, indoor workplaces and public areas, and all government facilities and vehicles.
  • Reducing youth tobacco use rates.
  • Increasing tobacco quit attempts and successes.
  • Identifying and eliminating the disparities experienced by population groups relative to tobacco use and its effects.

The WYSAC Tobacco Indicators Database is a collection of survey data on tobacco use in the state of Wyoming. The surveys in the database, along with the years they were collected, are listed below.
