ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The main responsibility of this position is to enforce the University of Wyoming parking
regulations on campus. It may also involve revenue collection, data entry, and other
duties as assigned. Applicants must be able to provide quality customer service at
all times and remain calm in stressful and sometimes difficult situations.
Transportation Services is very flexible working with student schedules. Weekly hours can range anywhere from 10 - 28 hours. The normal hours of operation are Monday - Friday from 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.
Please note that this position requires occasional weekend, night, and early morning work. Position includes frequent pay scale reviews.

JOB PURPOSE:
Safely transport passengers for the SafeRide and/or Paratransit services that provide transportation on an “on-demand” basis.
DEMAND RESPONSE DETAILS:
Paratransit: provides complementary ADA transportation for those with disabilities.
Hours of operations: Monday - Friday 6:00am - 11:00pm
SafeRide: provides alternate night and weekend public transportation
Hours of operations:
Monday - Saturday 9:30pm - 2:30am
Saturday & Sunday 9:30am - 10:30pm
Scheduling:
Ideal position for college students or those needing flexibility in scheduling
Employees can work one or both services

Perform safety inspections of vehicles to ensure equipment is operating within safe parameters. Maintain inventory of equipment.
Assist with shop and vehicle cleaning.
Orient and train new employees as required.
Provide excellent customer service, offer assistance and answer questions from passengers as required.
All other duties as assigned.

JOB PURPOSE:
A University of Wyoming Bus Driver follows a planned bus route, making scheduled stops to pick up or drop off passengers. They will answer questions about the bus routes and communicate with dispatch via two-way radio during route.

PLEASE NOTE:We are hiring for 1 Evening Bus Driver position. Our operating hours are from 5:30am-11:00pm, while our Full-Time Bus Driver shifts are 5:30am-2:30pm and 10:00am-7:00pm. Pre-employment drug screening and review of motor vehicle record history are required.
JOB PURPOSE:
Drive a bus or van on regularly scheduled or special assignment runs; assist with data entry of parking tickets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Safely operate UW Transit equipment as assigned.
Perform federal DOT Safety inspections to ensure equipment is operating within safe parameters. Maintain inventory of all safety related accessories.
Maintain certifications and licenses including but not limited to CDL, DOT Medical Certification, CPR, First Aid, TSI and Defensive Driving.
Maintain cleanliness standards of all equipment and workspaces.
Orient and train new employees as needed.
Maintain exceptional customer service standards, and assist patrons as needed.
Maintain appropriate ridership documentation.
This position has been deemed essential as addressed in the University of Wyoming’s Employee Handbook. Employees in essential positions may be required to work during emergency closures and winter closure based on the nature of their job duties and the reasons for the closure.
