Graduate Assistantships

Graduate assistantships carry a full tuition and fee waiver, monthly living stipend and health insurance. The academic year stipend for a Master's student is $10,062. Graduate assistants are assigned various duties such as class preparation, grading and research for faculty. Students are expected to work 18 hours per week. Given the limited number of graduate assistantships, and the strong interest in our graduate program, half-time assistantships are often awarded which would require 9 hours of work per week. Graduate assistantship applications should be submitted directly to the International Studies Department.
