  A Wyoming native, Ellen joined the Department of Theatre and Dance in the fall of 2006. Prior to UW, she served as Associate Costume Shop Manager at New York University's Tisch School for the Arts in New York City. Ellen has worked as Costume Shop Manager for Glimmerglass Opera in Cooperstown, NY, and as a draper at the Huntington Theatre in Boston, MA. Before moving back to her home state, Ellen also worked with such companies as Barrington Stage Company in Great Barrington, MA, and the Idaho Repertory Theatre in Moscow, ID. Ellen is also an experienced stage manager, having served as Production Stage Manager for two seasons at Penobscot Theatre Company/Maine Shakespeare Festival in Bangor, ME and toured nationally with the Big Apple Circus. Ellen completed her MFA in Costume Production at Boston University in 2003. She received her BFA in Technical Theater, Costume Design from the University of Idaho and an Associate of Arts degree from Central Wyoming College in Riverton, WY.
