Lee Hodgson Professor Costume Design B.A. University of Wyoming M.A. University of Wyoming M.F.A. California Institute of the Arts hodgson@uwyo.edu |
| Leroy Hodgson holds an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts and is a member of the United Scenic Artists Local 829. The competition is extremely intense and only a handful of artists are accepted into the union each year from across the US--and few professors from universities are ever chosen. In addition to designing for our department, Lee designs professionally. Most recently he designed Impression: Monet, and Portrait of Dorian Gray for Open Stage in Fort Collins, and Nutcracker Ballet for the Springfield Ballet. Lee is know for his strength of style in his work and for his ability to teach strong rendering technique to his students. Lee also directs for our department and recently directed Local Celebrities a student written original piece that was selected to be performed at the regional Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region VII in Anchorage Alaska. | |
