Margaret Wilson has choreographed several original dance productions, including …the body through which the dream flows…, Dancing Near the Edge of Chaos, The River and Toward Entropy, as well as an annual performance of vertical dance, co-produced with Neil Humphrey Professor of Geology and Geophysics at the Vedauwoo Recreation area 14 miles east of Laramie, WY.  She has won numerous teaching, research, and advising awards, including the Ellbogen Teaching Excellence award and a WAC Performing Arts Fellowship.  Margaret has administrative and grant writing experience and has coordinated several residencies for the University of Wyoming and has served as assistant director for the Snowy Range Summer Dance Festival.  Margaret’s research interests are in kinesiology, biomechanics and the interface of art and science in teaching and training dancers.  Her research has been presented at the International Association for Dance Medicine and Science, and she publishes in the Journal for Dance Medicine and Science.
