Acting for the Camera Studio


Our acting for the camera studio, completed in 2001, is a multi-purpose, state of the art facility. The first level contains storage space and a 4,000 square-foot rehearsal hall/studio with twenty-five foot ceilings, lots of natural and television lighting, and a fully sprung dance floor. The smaller second floor contains a new, fully-enclosed light booth for the Studio Theatre, a projection booth, a television control room and editing suite. The renovation also gave the our black box Studio Theatre new, cozy seats and a re-worked electrical system. The 1.6 million dollar project was funded by an anonymous donor and supporter of UW Theatre and Dance.
