COMEDY.

Nominated for Best Play, 2000, New York Drama League and Finalist for the 1998 Francesca Primus Prize

This old-fashioned romance begins in 1940 on a cross-country train headed out of California carrying the bodies of American writers Nathaniel West and F. Scott Fitzgerald . Also on board is May, a feisty young woman bent on being a missionary, who shares her seat with Raleigh, a charming young flyer just discharged from the service who’s bent on being a writer. Both plans are derailed as love blossoms between the Kentucky natives and their lives become infinitely more complicated.

COMEDY.

From the big world of Little League comes this hilarious comedy about two mismatched fathers battling it out in the box as they coach their team through an entire season of Little League ball. Don is a brash former jock and seasoned veteran who lives to win, while Michael is a sports-challenged newcomer who just wants to bond with his geeky son and ensure everyone has a good time. From their first awkward meeting to the team’s final game, follow this odd couple of the diamond as they come to terms with whether winning really is everything.
