Saddle Up College Preparation Camp
Required for all incoming first-year students
This required camp allows incoming students to move into the dorms a full week early and will prepare students for the demands of college life.
New Student Days are scheduled for April 2024 and will help you get ready for exciting times at UW
by giving you a closer look at what we have to offer including;
As part of your journey to the University of Wyoming, we will be hosting virtual onboarding
for incoming students throughout the summer. This is an excellent time for you and
your family to sit down together for short online sessions that cover all you need
to know including parking, student ID, and other services!

August 16-23, 2024
Saddle Up is a required camp for first-year students that will help you develop skills necessary for success
in college. This program is required for all incoming freshmen as we will not be hosting
an in-person orientation. You’ll also be able to move into our residence halls early
so you can get to know your new classmates! More information will be sent out throughout
the summer.
Going to college is a major decision and we want to make sure you are feeling confident
about your choice. UW offers future students several visit opportunities including
in-person visits, a virtual tour and virtual sessions so you can see our beautiful
campus.
