Board Memberships:
- Wyoming Technology Transfer Center
Director of the Wyoming Technology Transfer Center. The Center assists local Wyoming
agencies and individuals in gaining technical transportation knowledge. This is accomplished
by communicating new and developing technology, responding to direct requests, providing
reference materials, and conducting T2/LTAP workshops throughout Wyoming. T2 is part
of the Local Technical Assistance Program, which supports centers in all 50 states
and Puerto Rico. The T2/LTAP Center is sponsored by the Federal Highway Administration,
in cooperation with the University of Wyoming, the Wyoming Transportation Department,
and Wyoming cities and counties
- Mountain Plain Consortium
Board Member on the executive committee of MPC representing the University of Wyoming.
Total research budget of the consortium is $2,000,000 per year. There are four other
Universities in this consortium: North Dakota State University, South Dakota State
University, Utah State University, and Colorado State University.
- Transportation Learning Network (TLN)
Board Member on the executive committee of the TLN system representing the University
of Wyoming. There are four Universities and six DOT's represented on the TLN Board.
This system allows programming various graduate and continuous education courses for
all sites.
- WYDOT/WCA Certification Program
Coordinator of the Wyoming DOT Certification Program. This program was established
in 1996. Eight certification seminars are presented annually; 250 participants are
certified every year in Aggregate, Asphalt, and Concrete.
- Wyoming Safety Management System Committee
Committee member of the Wyoming Safety Management System Committee. This committee
developed the comprehensive safety plan for the state of Wyoming.
