Amanda DeDiego is an Associate Professor of Counseling. Dr. DeDiego is based on the
UWC campus supporting the hybrid counseling graduate program. She has been a practicing
professional counselor for over 10 years. She has advanced training in Eye Movement
Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and has a clinical focus on trauma therapy.
Dr. DeDiego has served in leadership positions within her field including Wyoming
Counseling Association (President, Secretary, Treasurer), Association for Creativity
in Counseling (Treasurer), Rocky Mountain Association for Counselor Education and
Supervision (President), American Counseling Association (Governing Council), and
Chi Sigma Iota (Strategic Planning Committee). She has been featured on ABC News and
Wyoming PBS discussing suicide prevention and mental health access. |
