Research Interests
Dr. Nichols researches a wide range of topics related to cultural approaches to wellness
primarily focused on rural school mental health including school counseling and educator
engagement. She is committed to community-based participatory research with a particular
interest in collaborating with American Indian nations and reservation communities.
