Oral Communication Center (OCC) is here to help students preparing for class presentations or speeches, including speeches for political campaigns, RSO presentations, conferences, thesis proposals, class debates/discussions, and more.

How we can help:

• Help to alleviate fears of speaking in public

• Help practicing speeches with an audience in a classroom setting

• Provide feedback from knowledgeable staff

• Instructional videos on speechmaking process

• Visit us for tutoring in the STEP Center in Coe Library

• Video tape practices for self-reflection

• Provide one on one tutoring for topic brainstorming, organizational structure, outline creation, and more
