Oral Communication Center (OCC) is here to help students preparing for class presentations or speeches, including speeches for political campaigns, RSO presentations, conferences, thesis proposals, class debates/discussions, and more.

How we can help:

• Help to alleviate fears of speaking in public

• Help practicing speeches with an audience in a classroom setting

• Provide feedback from knowledgeable staff

• Instructional videos on speechmaking process

• Visit us for tutoring in the STEP Center in Coe Library

• Video tape practices for self-reflection

• Provide one on one tutoring

FALL 2024 HOURS

During the fall 2024 semester, there will be in-person consultations and online zoom consultations. In-person consultations will be held in Ross Hall, room 442. Online consultations will be held over Zoom. The OCC is closed during finals weeks and summer sessions.
