International Education Week (IEW) is an initiative of the US Dept. of State and the US Dept. of Education that draws attention to the value of international education. The University of Wyoming celebrates IEW annually with a wide range of activities, international food, and events. IEW often brings opportunities for students, staff and faculty to explore international programming such as:
WyoGlobal encourages everyone to share their international stories and experiences on social media using #WyoGlobal.
The Global Engagement Office invites you to join a welcome social to kick off IEW, on Monday, November 18th from 2:00-3:30 pm.
Please join us for refreshments in the basement of the Cheney International Center. Members of the Global Engagement Office will be present to share information about upcoming events, and to discuss all things global at UW!

Week or an event that reflects the internationalization efforts of UW, we look forward
to celebrating and deepening the global impact of our institution.
We encourage you to spotlight your international students and faculty, returned education
abroad students, and international research. Suggested activities include cultural
demonstrations, panel discussions, professional development training, and more.
Students and Faculty/Staff may submit appropriate events that will occur during International Education Week for inclusion in our online calendar and in printed publications.
The deadline for event submission is open until November 11th. If you'd like to submit for fall 2024, please contact UWGlobal@uwyo.edu.
