The mission of the University of Wyoming Presidential Leadership Institute (PLI) is to empower our talented staff to become exceptional leaders. PLI supports UW’s strategic plan, particularly objective 3 (Provide a Supportive Community) and provides training in five key competency areas: 1) understanding your strengths, 2) diversity, equity, and inclusion, 3) leadership & relationships, 4) communication, and 5) stress & conflict management.
The Presidential Leadership Institute is designed for staff up to the director level. All applicants must be in a full-time employment status and must have completed two years of full-time, uninterrupted service at UW at the time of application.
All UW employees who meet the eligibility requirements described above are welcome to complete an application. Applications should be submitted to the Office of the President at uwpres@uwyo.edu by March 29th.
