Symposium Overview

The UW School of Energy Resources along with the Wold Foundation is pleased to host Wyoming's Energy Future Symposium. The in-person forum will bring together experts across the spectrum of energy development to explore and discuss the future of energy in Wyoming.

Examining different topics from an industry perspective as well as an academic perspective, the symposium brings together various stakeholders in the state and region to collaborate and learn about what comes next for energy in Wyoming.

Continuing Education Credits

This event has been approved for 4.0 general continuing legal education credits (CLE) with the Wyoming State Bar. Wyoming is a self reporting state.

Accommodations

The Symposium will take place the day before the Wyoming Cowboy Football game v. Air Force Academy. This makes finding accommodations difficult, but not impossible. We recommend booking a room ASAP. Call for Posters

University of Wyoming Students are invited to showcase a poster of their current, energy related research projects at the Wyoming’s Energy Future Symposium on September 12, 2024. Posters will be on display throughout the conference and presenting students must be available to discuss their work with conference attendees during the breaks and networking reception. A winner will be selected by the Wold Foundation to receive a $500 prize, and get to showcase their project at the Energy Day reception on October 11 with the School of Energy Resources.

First Place: $500 and Recognition at the Energy Day Celebration on October 11

Second Place: $200

Third Place: $75
