Starting May 13 and going through August 23, most departments at the University of Wyoming, including our office, will be working summer hours of Monday through Friday from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm MDT. Once fall semester is underway, we will return to regular hours of 8:00 am to 4:30 pm MDT. Enjoy your summer!
The 2024-2025 FAFSA is available at studentaid.gov. Our office is receiving student FAFSA records, and we are packaging students' financial aid each day. Students will receive an email from our office when that process has been completed.
We have been notified by the Dept of Education that institutions will be slowed down, or delayed, in being able to make necessary corrections to student's FAFSA. This may result in students being packaged later than originally planned.
The Department of Education has now enabled FAFSA corrections for the 2024-2025 application, and you can log into your FAFSA account to make any necessary changes. Review what kinds of changes are allowed to the FAFSA once it's been processed.
Federal student loan repayment began again in October 2023. This helpful guide, Great Advice for Repayment, provides some ways to help borrowers with this. You should direct any repayment questions you have to your loan servicer.
