Resident Student Scholarships
This information is for the Fall 2026/Spring 2027 academic year. Unless otherwise
noted, awards listed are for the academic year and not by semester.

Cost of attendance
QuickStart Programs: Undergraduate students enrolled in a QuickStart program will still be eligible to
receive a resident renewable scholarship.
Study Abroad: Renewing scholarships that are offered by UW can be used for an exchange study abroad
program where tuition is billed by UW. Those students will be enrolled in a UW 4001
level course placeholder. Scholarships that are in this category include:
- All Commitments and the individual scholarships used to fulfill them
- Western Undergraduate Exchange Award (WUE)
- Good Neighbor Award
- Trustees' Scholars Award
Students who elect to enroll in a non-exchange study abroad program (UW 4000 level)
where tuition is billed by the participating university will waive that semester's
eligibility for the renewing scholarship.

Wyoming Residency Status: If a student becomes a Wyoming resident during their first year at UW, their scholarship
will be adjusted to the equivalent resident award. If residency is approved after
the first year, the scholarship will be canceled.
