The Wyoming Computing Symposium, supported by the School of Computing and Department of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, showcases computing research and development in Wyoming and the region that contributes to strengthening the economy and workforce. Focusing on a different theme each year, the symposium includes emerging computing technologies and approaches, innovative applications of computing, and computing entrepreneurship.
The 2nd Wyoming Computing Symposium focuses on research in data analytics and computing that will power new applications and uses for drones, including topics in sustainable development, agriculture and animal migration monitoring, disaster response, drone control systems, the Internet of Things, Big data, cloud computing, data analysis, intelligent systems, and remote sensing. The 2nd Wyoming Computing Symposium will provide academicians, scientists, engineers, and practitioners with a platform for discussing the latest advances related to computing for drone applications. The symposium will include keynote talks, contributed short talks, lightning talks, poster presentations, and a panel.
CALL FOR PARTICIPATION:
We welcome submissions for short talks, lightening talks, and posters that report accomplished work as well as work in progress, we are also interested in works dealing with innovative ideas (theoretical or conceptual) with the potential for significant impact on future research.
