Five finalists for the position of dean of the University of Wyoming College of Business have been identified, and they are scheduled to give public presentations at UW beginning this week.
The candidates are Scott Beaulier, dean of North Dakota State University’s College of Business; Melissa Gruys, dean and professor of management at Purdue University Fort Wayne’s Richard T. Doermer School of Business; Jim Jawahar, professor at Illinois State University; Ronn Smith, senior associate dean at UW’s College of Business; and Devrim Yaman, associate dean at Western Michigan University’s Haworth College of Business.
Each candidate will be on campus for a day and a half of engagement, beginning Thursday, April 7, for the first candidate and ending Tuesday, April 19. These visits will include public presentations in which the campus community can participate in person or virtually.
Gruys’ public presentation is Thursday, April 7, from 3-3:30 p.m., followed by 30 minutes for questions and answers. The presentation will be held in the College of Business Scarlett Auditorium and via WyoCast and YouTube. To learn more about her, go here.
