UW Spring Faculty Meeting April 29

University of Wyoming President Ed Seidel invites all faculty members to the annual spring faculty meeting Friday, April 29, from 9-10:30 a.m. in the Wyoming Union Ballroom.

It’s the first in-person spring faculty meeting since 2019. The meeting also will be livestreamed; the link will be provided later.

“This is a wonderful chance to come back together in person to celebrate what we’ve accomplished through a difficult time and look forward to the great opportunities ahead of us,” Seidel says. “We hope everyone will come and participate. Those teaching classes at that time might consider bringing them along; those who can’t make it in person are welcome to join online.”

The meeting will include updates from the Faculty Senate; Provost and Executive Vice President Kevin Carman; and Seidel. Retiring College of Health Sciences Dean David Jones will be recognized as well. A question-and-answer session will follow.

Coffee/tea and donuts/pastries will be served.
