Importance of scheduling events

The Central Scheduling Office is the primary point of contact for all departments, groups, and individuals who are interested in scheduling the use of facilities and space at the University of Wyoming. With a centralized scheduling process, we are able to provide UW and the public with information and assistance for events.

Many departments at UW need to schedule events other than classes. These events may occur indoors or outdoors or during the evening. We are here to assist people who would like to reserve the necessary space for their events on campus, and can connect them with other sources if needed. When you would like to schedule an event,  the Central Scheduling office will assist and guide you with your scheduling needs.

What we schedule

Ad Hoc Events:

After the academic schedule is in place for each semester, Central Scheduling addresses space requests for anything from class reviews and thesis defenses to department meetings and RSO events on a priority scheduling basis. Outside users are always welcome to request the use of space. Please note that a fee may be assessed. 

Outdoor Events: 

Want to have an event outside? Central Scheduling reserves Prexy's Pasture, the green areas around campus, and fraternity/sorority mall. We also schedule equipment (such as tables and chairs), and other needs you might have for your reservation.
