CONFIRM ENROLLMENT

DUE TO NATIONWIDE FAFSA DELAYS, CONFIRMATION DEADLINE EXTENDED TO JUNE 1!

First-year, international and transfer undergraduate students who are admitted to the University of Wyoming will receive a congratulatory email along with an admittance packet in the mail. If you are a prospective graduate student, the program you apply to will reach out to you by email on their decision. But, don’t stop there! There will be a few tasks you will need to complete in order to confirm your enrollment at UW and start your next steps to becoming a UW student.

How to Confirm Your Undergraduate Enrollment

A step-by-step guide to confirming your enrollment

Once you have been admitted to UW, follow these step-by-step instructions to confirm your enrollment. Once you have completed your enrollment deposit, you will also be provided with additional steps inside WyoRecords that you'll need to complete in order to finalize your enrollment. If you need additional assistance, check out our video tutorial that outlines the steps below.

Step 1

Visit WyoWeb to obtain your username and initial password

For first-time users, visit wyoweb.uwyo.edu to create your WyoRecords account. It's your portal to becoming a UW student!

Click on the blue text in the upper right-hand corner that says Obtain Username and Initial Password.

Step 2

Create your WyoRecords account

After clicking on “Obtain Username and Initial Password," enter your last name and date of birth as they appear on your admission application. Then enter your university W# (found on your admit letter) and leave the last four digits of SSN field blank. Be sure you have entered all the required information and then click Submit.

Important Note: Your username and initial password will appear on the screen after your submission so be sure to remember this information. These are the credentials you will use to access WyoRecords for the first time and you'll be prompted to change your password the first time you log in.

Step 3

Log in to WyoRecords and change your password

Log in using the username and initial password you received in Step 2. You will be prompted to enter a new password after logging in for the first time. You also may be prompted to re-enter your username and new password.

You're now ready to log in and begin your enrollment checklist! If you wish to access WyoRecords directly and bookmark it in your browser, you can access the main WyoRecords login screen here. Remember, you can always access WyoRecords from WyoWeb which is UW's link portal to many important resources.

ImportantThis will become your login for many tools you will use at UW so be sure to remember it or use a secure password keeper.

Step 4

Confirm your enrollment with deposit and complete your checklist

Confirm & Pay Your Deposit
Once you have made it to WyoRecords, your very first step is to confirm your enrollment and pay your deposit. This will appear on the left side of the screen.

Complete Your Enrollment Checklist
Your checklist items are unique to you so be sure to check them out once you're done with your enrollment deposit. These checklist items may include things like completing your housing application, providing immunization records, emergency contact information and more. These items can be completed in any order and must be done before you can begin enrolling in your courses.

Important Note: The checklist item "Finalize Admissions" cannot be done until you finish your final high school semester and we receive your final official transcript.

Have you filled out your FAFSA yet?

In order to be eligible for federal financial aid awards, students must fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). This application opens every October prior to the upcoming academic year.

Apply for HOUSING

With six residence halls, students who are required to live on campus will find a fun and vibrant living experience. Once you’ve confirmed your enrollment, you can apply for housing at UW and select your meal plan through your WyoRecords checklist.

Choosing a Roommate

When you fill out your housing application, complete the roommate preference form to help find a roommate. If you already know who you want to room with, be sure that both you and your roommate list each other’s name/W#s on your housing application.
