Find Your Sound in Our Ensembles
From the roar of Western Thunder to the classical sounds of the UW Symphony Orchestra, UW’s Department of Music offers a wide range of ensemble experiences. Students can perform in concert bands, jazz groups, choirs, orchestras, world music ensembles and chamber groups—often participating in more than one. Whether you're a music major or just love to perform, there’s a place for your talent here.

Buchanan Center for the Preforming Arts
The Buchanan Center for the Performing Arts (BCPA) is the home of the University of Wyoming's Music, Theatre and Dance departments. This state-of-the-art facility features a 600-seat Concert Hall, a 100-seat Recital Hall and numerous rehearsal and practice spaces. The BCPA serves as a vibrant hub for performances, academic programs and community engagement.
