Speaker of the House in 2015, House Majority Floor Leader in 2013. President of the Wyoming State Bar (1994-1995). Commercial pilot and certificated flight instructor. Lt. U.S. Navy (1966-1970). Kermit’s wife, Margaret Brown, is also a UW alum. She earned a BA in Social Studies in 1966 and an MPA in 1994. Margaret served as Wyoming State Representative for Carbon County from 1983 to 1986 and retired from UW as Director of Development at the Law Dean’s Office.
